genome_updater is a bash script that downloads and updates (non-redundant) snapshots of the NCBI Genomes repository (RefSeq/GenBank) with advanced filters, detailed logs and reports, file integrity checks, NCBI taxonomy and GTDB integration and support for parallel downloads.
